Val uses Transactional Analysis and techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, visualisation, Mindfulness, Gestalt and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in her work. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
